Using: The same + Noun + as

استخدام التركيب للمقارنة والتطابق

1. Structure & Usage

This structure is used to show that two or more things are identical or alike.

يستخدم هذا التركيب لإظهار أن شيئين متطابقين أو متشابهين جداً.

✅ Positive Form

He has the same car as his brother.

لديه نفس السيارة التي لدى أخيه.
⛔ Negative Form

This isn’t the same idea as yours.

هذه ليست نفس الفكرة التي لديك.
2. Key Rules
  • Compare Nouns: We use this structure with Nouns (Not adjectives).
    نستخدم هذا التركيب مع الأسماء فقط، وليس الصفات.
  • Identity: Use it for things, people, places, or ideas that are identical.
3. ⚠️ Common Mistakes

هذه الأخطاء تتكرر كثيراً في الاختبارات، انتبه لها:

❌ He has same car like his friend. ✅ He has the same car as his friend. Wrong Words Use “as”, not “like”. Must use “the”.
❌ They wear a same uniform. ✅ They wear the same uniform. Article Error Always use “the” before same. Never use “a”.
❌ This is same house I saw. ✅ This is the same house I saw. Missing ‘The’
4. Advanced: Context & Parts of Speech

تتغير وظيفة “the same” النحوية حسب سياق الجملة:

1. Before a Noun Adjective Phrase

Ex: They wore the same uniform.

تصف الاسم الذي بعدها.
2. Without a Noun (Replacement) Pronoun Phrase

Ex: I ordered tea, and she ordered the same.

تحل محل الاسم عندما يكون المعنى واضحاً.
3. With “as” (Comparison) Adj Phrase + Conjunction

Ex: He has the same book as me.

تستخدم “the same” للوصف و “as” للربط.
